2U compute server example

The 2U compute server consists of two identical system-board trays installed in a 2U chassis.

The system-board trays function as two independent 1U servers. Each dx320 system-board tray supports one 3.5-inch simple-swap hard disk drive, each dx340 system-board tray supports one 3.5-inch simple-swap hard disk drive or two 2.5-inch hot-swap hard disk drives, each dx360 system-board tray supports one 3.5-inch simple-swap hard disk drive, each dx360 M2 system-board tray supports one 3.5-inch simple-swap hard disk drive or two 2.5-inch simple-swap hard disk drives, and each dx360 M3 system-board tray supports one 3.5-inch simple-swap hard disk drive or two 2.5-inch simple-swap hard disk drives.

This example shows two dx340 system-board trays installed in a 2U chassis. Each dx340 system-board tray has two 2.5-inch hot-swap SAS hard disk drives.
